Technical Direction

The role responsible for all technical aspects of event production: AV systems, staging, lighting, rigging, power distribution, networking infrastructure, live streaming, and content capture. A technical director (TD) designs the technical specification, manages the AV crew, coordinates with the venue's in-house team, and ensures every session runs smoothly from a technical standpoint. The TD is the single point of accountability for everything the audience sees and hears.
